About us
The LDC University Leadership for Catalyzing Climate-Adaptation Finance (UNI-LEAD) project aims to strengthen capacities of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) to achieve scaled up and effective climate change adaptation by fostering sustained in-country technical services for project development, policy mainstreaming, and the creation of an enabling environment for accessing climate finance. UNI-LEAD is working closely with the Least Developed Countries Group (LDC Group) and its subsidiary organization, the Least Developed Countries Universities Consortium on Climate Change (LUCCC) to strengthen capacities for accessing climate change.
The UNILEAD project is funded by the GEF Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF) to support countries in their efforts to advance climate adaptation. UNI-LEAD is implemented by UNEP and executed by START International through collaboration with the LUCCC.
